Due to Hurricane Zeta, Mississippi has been granted a waiver extending the time period for households in select counties receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to request replacement benefits.
SNAP households in the following counties may submit requests for benefit replacement due to food loss from Hurricane Zeta until November 30, 2020: Clarke, Forrest, George, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Jones, Lamar, Pearl River, Perry, Stone and Wayne.  For SNAP households in all other counties, benefit replacement requests due to the hurricane will be accepted until November 9, 2020.

To request a replacement of SNAP benefits, households must submit the Household Statement of Food Loss Due to Household Disaster, MDHS-EA-508.  This request form is available on the MDHS website at https://www.mdhs.ms.gov/economic-assistance/ .

The form may be submitted via the EA Document Upload feature on the MDHS Website, or by email/fax to your County Worker.  If you need assistance with this process, please contact the Economic Assistance Customer Service Center at 800-948-3050
