MDHS launches one-stop guide for resources available to all Mississippians
(Jackson, Miss.) – The Mississippi Department of Human Services recently launched a statewide initiative to provide a “one-stop” online guide for all Mississippians to find a variety of resources and services available throughout the state.
My Resources is a collaborative effort that allows visitors to search available resources across all divisions within MDHS. The provider service types available include Economic Development, Education, Emergency Services, Family Services, Financial Services, Food, Goods, Health, Housing, Legal, Media, Recreation, Senior Services, Transportation, and Work.
Website visitors searching for resources do not require a login to use the site. Once on the site, they will have access to a database of resources by county, service, or both.
“With so many services available to Mississippians across a variety of platforms and agencies, it can often be cumbersome and time-consuming to search multiple websites to find information,” said MDHS Executive Director Christopher Freeze. “We have launched My Resources to consolidate all these resources into one, easy-to-navigate database. It is one more facet of our ongoing commitment to use resources efficiently and effectively to assist children and families.”
To take advantage of My Resources, Mississippians can find the tab prominently displayed at the top of the MDHS homepage, or can go to https://myresources.mdhs.ms.gov.
