Child Care Payment System e-Ledger

The Mississippi Department of Human Services Division of Early Child Care & Development (DECCD) provides complete information for Child Care Payment Program (CCPP)-approved providers on how to submit child attendance for payment through the Child Care Payment System.

Your CCPP reimbursement amount will be based on the attendance of children in your care who are receiving CCPP tuition assistance. You will submit this information through the Child Care Payment System e-Ledger once per month.

CCPP Provider Payment Schedule

• Payment ledgers must be submitted electronically through the Child Care Payment System (CCPS) once a month.
• Providers have the opportunity to submit ledgers during one of two payment cycles during the month, however, providers will only receive one payment per month for services rendered.
• Ledgers open to providers on the 1^st day of the month and remain open until 11:59 p.m. CST on the 5^th day of the month.
• Providers who submit their ledgers by the 5^th will be issued payment by the 15^th.
• Providers who fail to submit their payment ledger by the 5^th have the option to submit their ledger by 11:59 p.m. CST on the 15^th day of the month.
• Providers who submit their ledgers by the 15^th will be issued payment by the 30^th.

e-Ledger Training and Support

After you apply to be an Approved Provider for CCPP, you must register for and attend a provider e-Ledger training webinar (online training) held on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 12:30 p.m.

The e-Ledger training covers the provider payment process, coding for child attendance, policies outlined in the current CCPP policy manual, and the process for recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect.

Applicants must register in advance and will receive an email confirmation containing a code to access the online training webinar. Applicants who do not attend the entire session will not receive credit for attendance and will not be approved to participate in CCPP.
