Child Care Facilities Virtual Workgroup Meetings
The Division of Early Childhood Care & Development (DECCD) will be hosting a series of virtual meetings to begin the process of rewriting the Regulations Governing Licensure of Child Care Facilities in Mississippi.
To begin this project, members of the joint MSDH Child Care Licensing Advisory Council and the MDHS Child Care Payment Program (CCPP) Advisory Council will be meeting in workgroups in the coming weeks. During these meetings, workgroup members will review the federal Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) requirements and the current Mississippi child care regulations that pertain to each federally mandated health and safety topic.
Members of the public are invited to attend these workgroup meetings and will have an opportunity to provide comments and feedback at the end of each meeting.
Advance registration is required to participate. Meeting details are provided below.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to child care and our littlest Mississippians.
